Keywords Searches and Industry Terms
Understanding terminology used in UL certified designs, and using these terms as keyword searches in the UL Product Spec online tool will increase the effectiveness of your search for designs.
Search tips
Add operators between search terms as follows:
and - all search words will be present in the results
or - any search words will be present in the results
not - excludes word in your search results
Combine operators to help narrow searches
Use quotations when combining more than one word (e. g., “concrete beam” or “single-ply”)
and is usually recognized as the primary operator and will connect words with and first.
